Why is it important to ask questions in social media?

For this week’s edition of Watch Me Wednesday, Dave talks about the importance of asking questions in social media. So, just how important is a question? Posting a question will almost always elicit a response and can increase user, fan, and follower engagement. Dave suggests (and knows from experience!) that when posting on any social media platform, it is much better to post a question rather than a statement.

    Dave! I love your stuff! I always try to use questions in social media. Also, at the end of my blog posts, I often try to form a questions to ask about our reader’s opinions on the topic. I think it definitely works!! Thanks and keep it up!

    Definitely questions are key when you want to engage in one form or another of engagement. Many are definitely saying that they are getting more interaction on their google+ accounts than they ever got on their twitters or facebooks so thats something that should be taken into consideration!

    When marketing events via mobile phone, asking questions make a huge difference in how many replies you’ll receive. Less replies = less conversations initiated = less prospects converted = less money made.
