How did you find this blog post?
You could be here from a random google search. You may have found it through my twitter account, or Dave's, or through someone you know. But, judging from my research, you did not find it through your RSS feed. And that's where the idea for RSS4MS was born.
Here's the deal. We've got a good blog here. Heck, we've got a GREAT blog. We've been providing daily information on Facebook, on word of mouth marketing, and on social media for almost two years. But I'm not happy with the subscriber count. It's not indicative of how much positive feedback we get. It's not indicative of the quality of content. And it's not where we yet want it to be.
And so, here's my idea...
I care about MS. I care about it because my mom has it, and because many people I know have been touched by the devastating effects of this disease. I give thousands of dollars a year to MS-related causes, and today I have decided to create a program that achieves two goals:
1. Raise money for MS
2. Raise subscriptions for Buzz Marketing Daily.
Here's how it works. I will make a $.50 cent donation to everyone who subscribes to our blog as a new subscriber within the next 48 hours (beginning at 7pm EST on Monday night)-- up to 5000 people. That's $2500. If you visit RSS4MS website, you will see that you have the opportunity to match the donation of $.50 in honor of your subscription.
For those of you visiting here for the first time, read through and make sure the blog is of value to you before you subscribe. If it's not your thing, heck, forward it to someone who likes marketing. Don't subscribe just for the sake of subscribing. I'm confident we'll reach our number of qualified subscribers using the power of social media and word of mouth.
