Labor Day Weekend is a sacred holiday in the US. It is the signifier that summer is coming to a close. For many working stiffs it means a day of respite from the daily grind. Especially in a tough economy where many don't have jobs, a lucky few of us have the opportunity to work at something we love and feel passionate about. I have recently spoken with many entrepreneurs who left high-paying corporate positions and became consultants or formed innovative start-up companies. These individuals have not only managed to survive, but they are thriving in ways they never thought possible. For many of these individuals Labor Day is simply another day of working on their labor of love. So take this Labor Day weekend and reflect on how you can take your dreaded 9 to 5 and turn it into a 24/7 love affair with labor. As the saying goes, "If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life."
