Today I'm coming to you live from Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Connecticut, where I'm meeting with the Likeable management team to plan for the upcoming year. Being in a casino got me thinking about how some companies are still nervous about "gambling" with social media, because they don't see the full value of it. In my opinion, the bigger gamble is NOT getting involved with the global conversation in social media, NOT building a community, and NOT listening to what your fans and customers have to say.
What is the risk of not taking part in social media while your competitors are using it to their advantage? It's worth it to jump into social media, even if you aren't getting the full ROI.
What do you think? Are you gambling by not taking part in social media? Let me know, and have a #likeable day!
