Every Brand Has A Story, What’s Yours?: Lessons From fMC

In this week’s Watch Me Wednesday, Dave invited his wife and business partner, Carrie Kerpen, to discuss the Facebook Marketing Conference as well as all the groundbreaking changes that will begin rolling out as a result. Facebook announced earlier today that Timeline for brand Pages is now available to company pages. Timeline for Pages may very well revolutionize the way brands interact with fans on Facebook, providing an increasingly personal experience for users.  The interface allows companies and organizations to share their story, incorporate milestones, and pin particularly engaging posts—essentially creating an identity for the brand. Check out our blog post on Timeline attributes vital to your brand's presence on Facebook.

In addition to Timeline for Pages, Facebook also announced that they will now offer premium ads. You can follow along with the fMC here. We’re excited to hear what other innovations Facebook has in store for us!

Do you think Facebook Timeline for Pages will increase fan engagement and dedication to brands, and what challenges might Page admins face in incorporating their Pages into Timeline? Are you watching the fMC? What are your thoughts on Facebook changes? Let us know in the comments!
