Black Friday, Cyber Monday — these shopping days have come and gone. But that doesn’t mean every gift has been purchased, wrapped and tied with a bow.

In fact, that's far from true. If you’re looking to make an impact on the holiday shopping season, don’t give up in December. Now is your opportunity to be the business that comes to consumers’ rescue when others begin to slow down promotions.

Here are five tips for reaching those last-minute shoppers with social media.

Use your brand's social media accounts to advertise exclusive deals and offer coupons for last-minute shoppers. Emphasize the limited time that shoppers have to take advantage of the deals, and implore them to visit your site right away. There is nothing better than a sense of urgency to motivate people to act.

Tap into the spirit of the season with your creative. From sentimental to light-hearted, imagery can convey your message and stimulate emotions in your audience that make them feel more interested in and connected to your brand. These connections can mean the difference between a sale and a snub.
